About the Role
The Admissions and Community Engagement Coordinator serves as a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact for prospective and current families. This position guides families through the admissions and enrollment process while supporting communications, community events, marketing initiatives, and family engagement.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional relationship builder who combines warm, responsive service with strong organizational and communication skills. This person will play an important role in strengthening enrollment, fostering family connections, and sharing the story of L’Étoile with the broader community.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families throughout the admissions process.
Respond to inquiries and provide timely, personalized follow-up.
Lead engaging school tours that communicate L’Étoile’s mission, programs, and community.
Guide families through application, enrollment, and new-family onboarding.
Maintain accurate admissions records, enrollment data, and prospective-family communications.
Partner with school leadership to support enrollment and retention goals.
Coordinate open houses, family celebrations, and other community events.
Support parent volunteers and the school’s Parent Committee.
Manage social media content and help showcase student life and the L’Étoile community.
Create clear, engaging communications for current and prospective families.
Assist with advertising, community partnerships, and other outreach initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in admissions, enrollment, marketing, communications, event planning, customer service, hospitality, education, or community engagement
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to creating a welcoming experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Initiative, sound judgment, and a solutions-oriented approach
Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with school leadership
Comfort learning and using technology platforms, databases, and communication tools
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
