* JOB PURPOSE:
** The Admissions team is looking for reliable and enthusiastic student workers to give campus tours, participate in student panels, host lunches, and share their experience with prospective students. These ambassadors are an integral part of the Admissions Visit Program. For many visitors their ambassador is one of few campus community members that they will have one-on-one contact with. Campus tours provide a valuable "inside look" at the college from a current student perspective.
You'll gain valuable skills and work experience from this job, including:

Communicate in a clear and organized manner so that others can effectively understand.

Serve as a role model to others by approaching tasks with confidence and a positive attitude.
* Professionalism:
Be present and prepared. Demonstrate dependability.
* Teamwork:

** PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:

* DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*** Provide one hour tours to prospective students and their families during designated times
* Host lunch with admitted students and their guests
* Participate in student panel discussions during Admitted Student Programs
* One on one meetings with prospective students to provide an individualized campus experience
* Participate in special admissions events programming throughout the academic year
* Occasional office work as available##
** RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS DIVERSITY:
*** Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.##

* SCHEDULE:
** Must have availability during at least two tour times within the week:
* M-F 9:10-10:10, and 3:00-4:00
* Occasional Saturdays and some additional evening hours as needed##
** RATE OF PAY:*** $16.80-$17.30 per hour
** WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT:
*** Work study highly preferred
