About The Role
The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, fostering social and emotional development, and building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues and being in alignment with PFA program standards.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that support early childhood development
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence in children
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians
- Collaborate with teaching staff and administration to maintain high-quality educational standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- OR
- Step 7 or above in ORO
- or
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience working as a Teacher with preschool-aged children
- C enrollment
- Infant and adult CPR
- Safe Sleep
- Recognizing and Reporting Abuse
- Registration with ORO
- 15 hours per year of applicable Early Childhood continuing education
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for early childhood education
