JOB PURPOSE:

This job is for Graduate Teaching Assistants for the Assessment I (SPSY 545) and Assessment I Lab (SPSY 544) courses, Fall 2026.## PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for this position applicants must have successfully completed SPSY 545 and SPSY 544 courses in a previous term.##

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Assessment TA will support faculty teaching the Assessment I and Assessment I Lab courses. The TA will have the following responsibilities:
* Review student protocols for accuracy and flag technical and scoring errors
* Review student administration videos for accuracy and identify administration strengths and errors
* Attend class as requested by the instructor to help model assessment administration, provide feedback regarding assessment processes, and support student learning needs
* Return protocols and videos with feedback for the instructor to review in a timely manner, following pre-agreed upon timelines
* Communicate clearly with the instructors regarding any questions about your duties and/or your inability to complete a requested task and/or meet a timeline
** TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
*** Mastery of the assessments covered in the Assessment I and Assessment I Lab courses including administration and scoring, per standardization
* Demonstrated ability to be punctual and maintain a work schedule established by the instructor
* Proven ability to have discretion and maintain confidentiality
** RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS DIVERSITY:
