Salary Range:
The  annual salary for a first-year assistant professor in the Shiley School of Engineering is $101,166; for a first-year associate professor, $112,283.

The Shiley School of Engineering ( SSOE ) prepares engineers and computer scientists to solve technical problems that affect society. Tenure-track faculty are responsible for maintaining teaching obligations, participation in student advising, service on committees in the School as well as the greater University, involvement in professional associations, and public service. All tenure-track faculty are expected to demonstrate a habit of scholarship, which requires dissemination within their discipline in various venues.
