Position Summary

The College of Education, Department of Leadership, Learning and Counseling ( LLC ) invites applications for Orientation and Mobility Adjunct Instructors with expertise in following core program area:

Orientation and Mobility Graduate Certificate

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related field to program(s) above.
• Previous teaching experience.
• Previous O&M teaching experience with blind, visually impaired or deafblind children.
• Certified Orientation and Mobility Certificate ( COMS )
• Preference is given to candidates who reside in Oregon or Washington

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in field related to program(s) above.
• Experience teaching adults.
• Creates an environment that acknowledges, encourages and celebrates differences.
• Functions and communicates effectively and respectfully within the context of varying beliefs, behaviors, orientations, identities and cultural backgrounds.
