Engineering-Documentation Technician

One of the world's leading automotive and trucking manufacturers is seeking an ambitious documentation technician to join our engineering team.

• Coordinate, prepare, review and implement engineering design and documentation changes.
• Create and check documentation in support of engineering projects and release work to ensure that engineering standards and procedures are met.
• Interpret, analyze and coordinate complex design changes relative to implementation dates and potential backlog implications.
• Provide technical assistance to design engineering professionals in order to ensure accurate design documentation.
• Monitor and coordinate the overall timing and flow of releases for projects ensuring that schedules and deadlines are being met.

• We are looking for an individual that has excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Must have good organizational skills and is able to work with a diverse group of people. Flexibility required.
• Must be analytical and be able to analyze project work.
• A working knowledge of documentation systems and experience with parts, bill of materials and product specification would be a plus.
• Candidate should be skilled in the use of a personal computer, and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
