Riverpoint Medical in Northeast Portland is hiring a Project Manager
. At Riverpoint you will be part of the process that brings great technology to Medical, Dental and Veterinary markets. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of premium medical devices. Our ingenuity can be found in our suture technologies, sports medicine fibers and anchors, surgical lighting, and special needle technologies. As a Project Manager you will lead cross‑functional teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of new medical device projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Drive multiple new product development and operational excellence projects from scoping through product launch, following the Phase Gate process.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Sales, and the customer throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop project charters, work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets; manage critical path and major work streams.
  • Regularly report the project status to all internal and external stakeholders outlining progress, achievements, and risks.
  • Report on project status, budget, and risks and recommend project decisions to upper-level management.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks; develop and monitor risk response plans.
  • Support all company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and other regulatory requirements.
Education and

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience leading projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to achieve consensus and motivate others without authority
  • Experience working in new product development preferred
  • Experience with FDA 510(k) process or other regulatory submissions preferred
