GRI is seeking a Staff Geologist to join our team. Our project roster and clients are diverse. As a Staff Geologist at GRI, you will gain experience working on a variety of interesting assignments under the mentorship of senior and principal geologists and engineers.

General Responsibilities- Perform and manage field explorations and drilling subcontractors. Perform basic lab testing including Atterberg Limits, Consolidation, Direct Shear, Proctor, Triaxial, etc.
- Soil and rock classification and geologic site reports.
- Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Environmental soil and groundwater sampling.
- Construction observation on site.
- Use gINT, CAD, GIS to collect and present data.
- Data analysis and report preparation.
- B.S. Geology;
Master’s Degree preferred. - GIT or RG Preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Use computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Perform physical tasks on project sites that may include walking, climbing, crawling, or standing for long periods of time.
- Lift up to 65 pounds at times.
- Travel to project sites in vehicles.
- Capable of overnight travel for jobs.
