Structural Designer

Froelich Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full‑time, in‑person structural designer with zero to two (0‑2) years of experience for all office locations.

As a structural designer, you will play a key role in the design of numerous projects with a variety of structural systems. You will work as part of a team under the direct supervision of a licensed professional engineer. You will gain experience in various areas of design, materials, design codes, and design software. • Provide design and analysis of structural systems for a variety of materials and projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential buildings
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet project specifications and code requirements from the start of design through completion of construction
• Assist in creating drawings and details using AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam software
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on design solutions
• Conduct site visits to assess structural systems during construction and for existing buildings

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
• New college graduates and applicants with up to two (2) years of experience in structural design
• EIT (Engineer in Training) certification (or results pending)
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Positive and professional attitude
• Self‑motivated with a desire to learn
• Experience in structural design software, AutoCAD, and Revit are a plus
• Competitive Salary based on experience and qualifications: $65,000 to $75,000 a year
