Licensure: E.I.T. or P.E. required (or in progress for E.I.T.)
Our client, a reputable and growing structural engineering firm, is seeking talented Structural Engineers with 2-10+ years of professional experience. These positions will support a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Ideal candidates are motivated, technically strong, and eager to contribute to a collaborative engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analysis and design for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
- Prepare construction documents, including drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal engineering staff throughout all project phases.
- Conduct site visits, assessments, and inspections as needed.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred but not required).
- 2-8 years of structural engineering experience in building design.
- Experience with wood, steel, concrete, and/or masonry design.
- Proficiency with structural engineering software (e.g., RISA, SAP
2000, RAM, ETABS, or similar). - E.I.T. certification required; P.E. preferred or in progress.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or within a team environment.
- Prior work in commercial, industrial, and/or residential structural design.
- Familiarity with local building codes in Oregon or Arizona.
- Experience preparing permit packages and coordinating with local jurisdictions.
