Estimating Coordinator - Data & Documentation Specialist

Overview

Seeking an Estimating Coordinator to join our team in Portland, OR. The estimating coordinator provides document control services to assist the estimating team. Key tasks include:

• Retrieve documentation from the General Contractor: drawings, specifications, bids, quotes, notes, BIM files.
• Build filing structure for documentation for estimator to access.
• Update tracking log with new information from the project team.
• Update savings log.
• Interact with customer and General Contractor to retrieve information for reconciliation and estimates.
• Perform technical assignments to support related company projects, utilizing versatility and analytical ability as required.
• Support estimators in estimating and reconciliations.
• Decision making: work performed under general supervision, with independent judgment or initiative.
• May give work direction to support staff who assist in specific assignments.
• Interface with technical staff within the organization.
• Limited external contacts outside the project.

• High school diploma (or equivalent) plus four years related experience.

• Articulate, with clear analytical approach to problem solving and good decision‑making abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Information Technology, including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project.
• Good communication skills.

Expected compensation range is between $80,000-$90,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
