We’re looking for a Chemical Process Engineer in Portland, OR who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. This role will give you the opportunity to work on state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities. You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks and will work with a multi‑disciplinary, highly interactive team to establish process design basis, develop process options and optimizations, and calculate and organize data for process flow sheets.
ThisPosition Will
- Perform conceptual and detailed design for advanced manufacturing facilities.
- Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
- Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
- Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
- Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
- Mentor junior engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
- Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process‑specific work.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a similar ABET‑accredited program.
- Engineer in Training (EIT/FE) or willingness to pursue certification within 6 months.
- At least 5 years of experience in a chemical process engineering role.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Forward thinking, eagerness to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and drive broad knowledge.
- Ability to work independently on core tasks and seek specialized expertise when needed.
- Ability to collaborate across multi‑disciplinary teams in various regions.
- Passion for engineering and developing solutions.

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $. Individual pay is determined by location and other factors.
