Overview

TRC is seeking a PIV and Pipeline Support Associate candidate to support the delivery of a large commercial energy efficiency program in Oregon and SW Washington. Through the program, we deliver technical assistance and cash incentives to customers in commercial facilities and buildings to help make electric and natural gas energy efficiency upgrades possible.

TRC creates and implements sophisticated and innovative solutions to the challenges facing America's energy markets and infrastructure. As a national energy and environmental services organization, TRC provides its services to America's major industries, utilities, banks, insurance companies, and federal, state, and local government agencies. The ideal candidate will be assertive, personable, and a self-starter, experienced with project management and the lateral management of people. They will understand electric and natural gas energy systems (HVAC, boilers, food service equipment, etc.) and display a passion for accountability, clear expectations, and deadlines, and understanding how projects fit into the bigger picture. Previous experience with energy efficiency programs, building performance principles and best practices, and/or construction management is preferred, but not required.

This person is someone who isn't afraid to reach out to all types of people and understands how to motivate colleagues to get projects completed. This person will reach into many different areas of the program and will have contact with many team members. Someone outgoing, creative, process-driven, a problem solver, and able to hold people to account is ideal.

This position will be based in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area and will be able to travel to sites on occasion.
