Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, contributing to the electrical design process and conducting detailed analyses of electrical systems, equipment, and packaging.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

* Working knowledge of low-noise, mixed signal design desired

* Perform Electrical Engineering design and analysis

* Identify problems and propose operational solutions to complex projects and tasks

* Document product designs and ensure release of accurate designs to manufacturing

* Communicate nature and status of work performed to appropriate management

* Assist mechanical and process engineers in the selection and qualification of new or replacement components

* Input drawings and design packages into PLM system and release via ECO process

* Conduct design reviews and post-mordem analysis of designs

* Ensure work is performed in accordance with approved practices of the company

* Manage projects with minimal guidance

* Other duties as assigned

Show your expertise

* BSEE or equivalent work experience or combination of education and experience required

* 1-3 years of engineering or related work experience required

* AutoCAD (required) and Solidworks (preferred) or other design package experience

* Microsoft Office Suite, Exceptional Excel skills mandatory

* Knowledge of design process, ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, practices, and procedures

* Ability to interact with internal and external customers

* Ability to exercise discretion and good independent judgment in all duties and responsibilities

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, bend, and lift up to 25lbs.
