What you’ll do
  • Monitor and drive improved quality performance for assigned suppliers primarily located in North America, ensuring purchased products meet quality requirements.
  • Manage new product releases at suppliers, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) documentation, collaborating closely with product design engineers to define and document part requirements.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and lead corrective action implementation to resolve supplier quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with internal customers to improve processes, documentation, and increase the maturity of the Supplier Quality Management System.
  • Engage with engineering, purchasing, sales, and manufacturing teams to support supplier quality initiatives and ensure alignment on quality standards.
  • Travel within North America approximately 10-20%, using a mix of car and occasional plane travel, reimbursed for mileage and gas.
  • Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
What you’ll bring Must-haves
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
  • Minimum 1+ year experience in a quality-critical manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to interpret product specifications and engineering drawings effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse functional groups and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
  • Experience auditing quality management systems to standards like ISO 9001 or AS9100.
  • Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Understanding of manufacturing metrics (KPIs).
  • Exposure to casting, welding, machining, or fabrication processes.
