Sr. Electrical Designer

Summary:
We're looking for a Senior Electrical Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities:
  • Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our client's advanced facilities. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP, you'll create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files.
  • Responsible for delivery of complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads and form the core of our electrical delivery team
  • Develop staffing plans based on deliverables to be produced and the project schedule, gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget and schedule for assigned tasks, mentor subordinates, and provide guidance to less experienced designer / drafters.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum High school graduate or equivalent. Associates degree in relevant field preferred.
  • 8 or more years of Revit/BIM design experience. 3 or more years of semiconductor experience preferred
  • Team leadership and project lead experience.
  • BIM Lead and strong Revit software experience.
  • Experience with electrical engineering power distribution design projects. In addition to power distribution, experience with mission critical facilities experience preferred.
  • Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components such as Switchgears, transformers, panel boards, generators, UPS, etc
  • Knowledge of NEC and electrical design requirements.
