Senior Service Engineer IS -ServiceNow AI - Hybrid

Description

Service Engineers work in partnership with developers, testers, and program managers to design, operate, grow, and improve large‑scale computer‑based services offered to IS, non‑IS, and clinical caregivers. Their technical skills are on par with those of development, test, and program management counterparts.

• Partner with developers, testers, and program managers to design, operate, grow, and improve large‑scale computer‑based services.
• Engage early in the development process, providing technical expertise comparable to development, test, and program management teams.
• Collaborate on automation, deployment, recovery, and other manual processes to enhance service reliability.
• Define and enforce resilience modeling, simulate service outages, and develop automated resilience solutions.
• Translate customer and technical requirements into service architecture that meets Quality of Service expectations.
• Represent the Service in backlog discussions and stand‑ups to prioritize live site requirements.
• Leverage data and metrics to drive decisions and communicate findings.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent education/experience.
• 5+ years of related experience (more preferred).
• Experience with automation related to deployment, recovery, or other manual processes.
• Experience with n‑tier solutions.
• Experience with resilience modeling (failure mode analysis) and simulating service outages (automated and manual).
• Ability to influence software engineering teams in translating requirements into architecture to meet Quality of Service expectations.
• Experience leading and representing the Service in backlog discussions and stand‑ups.
• Strong analytical skills; use of root cause analysis, systematic problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision making.
