Location: Portland, OR

• Direct field staff performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right‑of‑way, and construction surveys for public and private clients.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment, take field notes, collect data, perform field calculations, and interface with clients.
• Supervise and mentor field crew members, coaching them to advance within the profession.
• Coordinate scheduling and liaison between office and field personnel.

• Knowledge of professional surveying practices and procedures; state and federal laws affecting land surveying and boundaries.
• Proficiency with Trimble GPS, total stations, electronic digital levels, and data collectors.
• Ability to download and process data files, and perform complex survey computations using Trimble Business Center, AutoCAD/Civil3D, and Micro Station.
• Inspect and check deliverables for accuracy, including field note sheets, electronic data files, and computation sheets.
• Supervise and coordinate field crew personnel and related scheduling.
• Liaison between office and field personnel.

• 8+ years of field Survey Party Chief experience including boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys, construction staking, and data collection.
• Minimum of high‑school diploma.
• Strong work ethic and accountability.
• Proven ability to work in a team environment.
• Clean driving record (no more than 3 accidents/violations in last 36 months or 2 in last 12 months).

• Bachelor’s or Associate’ degree preferred.
• UAS/Drone Part 107 flight and/or mapping experience.
• NSPS Certified Survey Technician.
• Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) certification is highly desired.
• Working knowledge of Trimble Survey equipment.
• Static scanning experience.
