Position Description
The BIM Modeler 2 is an intermediate level modeling position and is responsible for providing modeling efforts for both project delivery and standards. This is a member of the production team that will create most of the detailed drawings for a project and may function as a Detailer as determined by their supervisor. Knowledge of Autodesk Navis Works, Autodesk Design Review and working knowledge of 3D layout and design.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Experience and skills required:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, 2D and 3D Revit software, Navisworks, AutoCAD and eVolve. .
- Bachelor's degree (B.
A. /
B. S.) from four-year college or university in Construction Engineering - Prior experience with design/build, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and write contracts
- Strong computer skills - Excel, Word, estimating software (Accubid a plus)
- Excellent people, communication and negotiating skill
Salary range for this position is $59,000-$79,000 annually.
Opportunity for a discretionary year-end bonus.
401k with a 40% employer match (up to federal limit.)
