Job Description
A public utility company is hiring a Project Scheduler and Controller supporting the PMO team for capital Transmission and Distribution projects. This role will primarily focus on construction scheduling and work planning, while also supporting project controls, material tracking, and cost-related activities as needed. This role supports multiple project teams and is responsible for building and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment across planning, procurement, and construction phases.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in project controls, scheduling, or related field
- Strong experience with: construction scheduling, work planning, schedule updates and progress tracking
- Experience with scheduling tools (Primavera P6 preferred, MS Project acceptable)
- Understanding of construction lifecycle and project phases
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience supporting infrastructure, utility, or construction projects
- Power utility experience
- Knowledge of power utility materials
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems
- Experience with project forecasting, cost tracking, or materials tracking
- Experience supporting large capital projects ($1M+)
- Exposure to outage coordination or utility planning
