We are looking for a Senior Piping Design Technician to work on projects that enable the heart of clients’ businesses. This hybrid position requires the ideal candidate to be located in Portland, Oregon;
Tempe, Arizona;
Moon Township, Pennsylvania; or Boise, Idaho.
In this role, you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks; recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly as you become familiar with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule; review vendor drawings; execute piping engineering design and develop design estimates. You will also mentor other professionals, helping them discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose, and guiding them forward.
Responsibilities- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks.
- Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
- Review vendor drawings and execute piping engineering design.
- Develop design estimates.
- Mentor other professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Associate’s degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a similar technical degree.
- At least 8 years of piping design experience.
- Advanced working knowledge of piping design in 2D/3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, CADWorx, and/or Revit.
- Experience with Navisworks and Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Electronic industry experience (semiconductor).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and drive to broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams.

Base salary range: $86,600.00 to $. Compensation is hourly based on hours worked. Pay is determined by work location and other factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and education.
