Associate Numerical Control Programmer (Machining/Tooling)

We seek an Associate Level Automation and Robotic Programmer to support the production system, improving processes and efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities- Communicate and consult with stakeholders to develop technical requirements for robotics systems.
- Identify equipment and approaches for automation process specifications.
- Lead resolution of ABB robot cell equipment and production process problems.
- Provide expertise in numerical control, machining, programming and DFMA.
- Develop and implement robot cell systems, tooling, and production processes (primarily ABB).
- Engage leadership and stakeholders to collaborate on automation opportunities.
- Specify, design, qualify, and implement robotic cells, end effectors, fixtures, and control systems.
- Program robot systems and paths.
- Train equipment services mechanics and technicians.
- Generate and verify machine control data; document manufacturing processes.
- Read, interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Communicate progress and accomplishments to business unit.
- Establish technical requirements for manufacturability.
- Plan and guide integration of machining techniques, processes, software, and equipment.
- Coordinate and train/mentor others.
- Experience with high‑speed machining in a production environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
- One year related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience as a machinist/roboticist with shop floor programming skills.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (CATIA, Vericut, MasterCAM, Robot Studio, CENIT, etc.).
- Certification or training in automation or robotics.
- Experience in a production environment.
- Experience with 3D modeling.

Pay and BenefitsCompetitive base pay and variable compensation. Summary pay range for Associate (Level2): $89,250 – $120,750. Benefits include health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, paid and unpaid time off, and other programs.
