ATS is seeking a full‑time API inspector with one or more of the following API certifications (510, 570, 653) to support our Portland office. This position is geared toward recently certified API inspectors in a mostly residential inspector role working 30–40 hours per week with limited overtime. No per diem unless traveling out of area, and requires relocation to Portland, OR.

• Perform field inspections of tanks, pressure vessels, and piping for compliance with standards and regulations, ensuring quality control and compliance.
• Provide recommendations for repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping, and other components.
• Write reports detailing assessments and results.
• Use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
• Apply process improvement and plant engineering or steel fabrication experience when required.
• Maintain strong leadership, organizational skills, and work independently.
• Multi‑task and work in a growing environment.

• Current API 510 and/or API 570 and/or API 653 certifications.
• Recent API cert recipients encouraged to apply.
• Willing and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and at lab, manufacturing, and industrial sites.
• Willing to relocate to Portland, OR; work odd hours, overtime, and varying schedules.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylum seeker) to meet ITAR requirements.
• Ability to learn and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Pass a drug screen and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Wear safety equipment as required by the safety department.
• Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man‑baskets, etc.
• Work in confined spaces requiring crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
• Work near operating equipment and industrial environments.
• Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners, penetrants, film developing chemicals, etc.
• Shifts up to 12 hours/day, 7 days/week and travel for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
