Civil Engineer – Site Design & Drainage (Mid-Level)
Location:
Seattle, WA or Portland, OR | Full-time | 4–6 Years of Experience
Compensation: $85K–$105K base + bonus potential + full benefits, with hybrid flexibility available
Overview:
A growing civil engineering team in the Pacific Northwest is looking for a Civil Engineer to support site and infrastructure design projects across commercial, mixed-use, and public markets. This is a great opportunity for a mid-level engineer to grow their technical and project management skills under the guidance of senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to grading, drainage, utility layout, and site civil plans.
- Prepare reports, calculations, and permit packages for local jurisdictions.
- Work alongside project managers and support QA/QC efforts.
- Engage in internal coordination with survey, traffic, and environmental teams.
- Support public presentations and client coordination as needed.
Qualifications:
- PE or ability to obtain licensure within 12 months.
- 4–6 years of civil engineering design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software.
- Familiarity with stormwater permitting requirements in WA or OR.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
