Industrial Engineer

Onsite Portland OR The Industrial Engineering team within the Client is seeking Industrial Engineers to join our growing team located in Portland, Oregon, USA. Our Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements, reviewing the facilities footprint for improvements, as well as utilizing root cause analysis and process improvements to improve flow of products and people throughout the site.

Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter and a collaborative team player. Our business unit allows you to learn all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing world including supply chain logistics and transportation, and fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies to be delivered to our assembly and installation programs around the world.

The project/day-to-day activities you will be working on:
Industrial engineer supporting factory operations. This will include capacity planning, forecasting for staffing, recovery planning, analytics, time studies.

Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role/job:

  • Data analysis
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Experience with work measurement
  • Problem solving including root cause analysis
  • Manufacturing experience

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field. 2 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment. 1 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes. Ability to pass Background, Drug Screen and if applicable Medical (i.e. Vision, Hearing, or Physical) if Required by Client. Medical, dental, vision, ancillary coverage and 401k benefits are available.
