OverviewThe Industrial Engineering team within the Client is seeking Industrial Engineers to join our growing team located in Portland, Oregon, USA. Our Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing to rate readiness requirements, reviewing the facilities footprint for improvements, as well as utilizing root cause analysis and process improvements to improve flow of products and people throughout the site.
Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter and a collaborative team player. Our business unit allows you to learn all aspects of the Aerospace Manufacturing world including supply chain logistics and transportation, and fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies to be delivered to our assembly and installation programs around the world.
Possible 12+ months with extension and possible FTE opportunity.

- Manufacturing experience
Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:
Industrial engineer supporting factory operations. This will include capacity planning, forecasting for staffing, recovery planning, analytics, time studies.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering field.
- 2 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment.
- 1 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
