Systems/Fire Alarm Engineer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business and who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative work environment. You would work on data center facilities projects and deliver world‑class designs for well‑known clients around the world.

• Perform preliminary assessments.
• Lead designs with support from peers, SMEs, and BIM designers.
• Resolve internal and external problems.
• Create drawings and specifications.
• Ensure customer and vendor accessibility.
• Interface directly with client counterparts and state/local code officials.
• Provide technical design leadership for fire alarm, detection, suppression, gas detection, smoke control, and explosion prevention systems in data‑center buildings.
• Produce calculations, equipment sizing, construction specifications, network diagrams, and construction deliverables in both 2D and 3D platforms using AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver them on time as the engineer of record.

• At least 4 years of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD design experience.
• Knowledge and design experience with Fire Alarm Systems and related manufacturers’ equipment, including VESDA systems.
• Knowledge of IBC, IFC, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) and electrical design requirements.
• Knowledge of general design and construction specifications.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license (ideal).
• Knowledge of NFPA 75, NFPA 76, NFPA 2001, and NFPA 13 codes (ideal).
• Design experience in data centers (ideal).
• Experience leading projects and managing resources (ideal).
• Experience mentoring junior staff (ideal).
• Experience estimating and scheduling mid‑to‑large‑scale projects (ideal).

The base salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
