Velocity Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Manager (PE) to lead a growing engineering department supporting large-scale commercial and specialty construction projects across multiple regions.
This leadership role is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with extensive Cold-Formed Metal Framing (CFMF) experience and a proven track record managing engineering teams, technical deliverables, and construction support operations.

- Columbus, OH
- Salt Lake City, UT
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and BIM designers
- Oversee engineering activities supporting multiple regional operations
- Manage engineering workload, staffing, and project priorities
- Review structural calculations, engineering packages, shop drawings, and technical deliverables
- Support estimating teams with engineering guidance and technical solutions
- Provide engineering support to field operations and active construction projects
- Collaborate with prefabrication, operations, and executive leadership teams
- Maintain awareness of evolving building codes, industry standards, and CFMF technologies
- Drive continuous improvement and engineering excellence across the organization
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) License
- Ability to obtain licensure in multiple states as required
- 10+ years of Cold-Formed Metal Framing (CFMF) engineering experience
- Previous engineering management or team leadership experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
