Vos missions en quelques mots
The DMCO is composed of two sections responsible for supporting the fleets: the "air support" section to which the central aeronautical maintenance base (BCMA) and its technical levels (ET) are attached, and the "naval support" section to which the national naval workshop is attached.
The air support section brings together the technical direction and navigability maintenance management functions. The realization of aeronautical maintenance is organized around the BCMA which covers the activity of two workshops: the first dedicated to aircraft, in Bordeaux-Mérignac and the second dedicated to helicopters, in Hyères. At the local level, maintenance relies on ET attached to the BCMA (helicopters in Le Havre and Hyères, aircraft in Hyères, Lann-Bihoué and Lamentin).
The technical level of Le Havre provides in-line support for the EC-135 helicopters used by the Le Havre aeromaritime surveillance brigade and the Margny-les-Compiègne aeroterrestrial surveillance brigade. Under the direction of the technical level manager, non-flying technical personnel participate in all technical operations of their competency domain (Be1) performed in line on air assets and related equipment. They operate, according to the rights attributed, the maintenance management system (AMASIS).
They also participate in service life tasks (general service, pool of specialty operation, ancillary tasks,...). They may occasionally participate in deployments of a few weeks in the context of specific operational missions in Europe (Frontex mission for example) or in the context of punctual reinforcement of an ET.
