Senior Geotechnical Engineer

A full-service environmental company is looking to expand its Geotechnical Engineering Team. The company is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Senior-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join the team. A successful candidate will be experienced in various aspects of geotechnical engineering projects, including the planning and implementation of subsurface field investigations, planning laboratory testing for soil and rocks, familiarity with and performance of geotechnical design analyses, and preparation of full geotechnical engineering reports.

The candidate should be able to independently evaluate and provide recommendations for foundations, slope stability, retaining wall systems, and other geotechnical aspects of a project. You'll gain valuable experience working on interesting projects in a variety of locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll manage the geotechnical team to build their professional skills, manage projects and clients, and have the opportunity to grow a successful department.

Salary is based on experience; therefore, starting pay is negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Planning and Performing Geotechnical Field Explorations.
• Writing Daily Field Reports.
• Preparing Geotechnical Engineering Reports and Deliverables.
• Managing Junior-Level Staff.
• Managing Projects and Clients.
• Working with Company Management.

General Requirements

• MUST have 15 to 20 years of Geotechnical Engineering experience.
• BSCE/MSCE (Geotechnical).
• MUST Have Professional Licenses: PE, GE.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Proficient writing and analytical skills.
