Structural Engineering Professional (EIT)
We are seeking a Structural Engineering Professional (EIT) to join our design team. In this role, you will support structural analysis and design efforts while working closely with Structural Leads, Engineers, Designers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Location:
Remote (U.S. Northwest Region or Canada)
You will assist in developing design concepts, performing analysis, and ensuring structural requirements are clearly communicated in drawings and models. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to build technical expertise and grow within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support structural analysis and design under general supervision
- Apply engineering fundamentals to evaluate and adapt design techniques
- Assist with lateral system design (wind and seismic) in accordance with building codes
- Maintain high-quality standards through detailed self-checks and peer collaboration
- Perform calculation checks and support senior engineers in design validation
- Manage assigned tasks and meet project schedules and deliverables
- Take ownership of assigned work and proactively communicate progress
- Identify scope changes and escalate to Structural Leads when needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrated design solutions
- Continuously develop technical skills and engineering judgment
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
- 2+ years of structural engineering experience
- Familiarity with U.S. building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
- Experience with structural analysis tools, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience designing steel and concrete structures
- Exposure to semiconductor or industrial facility projects
