Position: Sr. Civil Engineers - Land Dev.

Senior Civil Engineer

Our client is looking to hire a Senior Civil Engineer to lead a number of new and ongoing projects throughout the Oregon/SW Washington area. They have a diverse, thriving civil engineering practice where this individual will utilize their expertise in successfully undertaking various land development focused projects.

As an integrated multi-disciplinary design firm, this individual will be partnering with our client's architects, landscape architects, urban designers, planners, surveyors and support staff, who all share a desire to blend an innovative approach while being mindful of how each design fits within its environment. This person will also be using sound engineering judgement to lead design concepts into construction drawings and technical specifications.

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in the civil engineering assessment and design of new and ongoing projects throughout the Oregon/SW Washington region.
  • Provide leadership to junior technical staff (drafters, designers/EITs) for successful completion of design and permitting of civil projects.
  • Collaborate with other internal team members (e.g., landscape architects, structural engineers, architects) and external consultants for preparation of permit documents.
  • Develop, implement and manage project work schedules and civil team project budgets.

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of (10) years’ experience as a Civil Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering license in OR and/or WA, in good standing is required.
  • A proven ability to be responsible for all aspects of site civil engineering design work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a creative and professional team environment.
  • Provide technical expertise in reviews, coordination with various discipline leaders, adhere to our QA/QC procedures for projects, and manage task budgets.
  • Experience in the development, management and mentoring of junior technical staff.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.
