Visually inspect all castings for defects using boroscopes, mirrors and other hand tools when necessary;
Verify alloy composition of all castings using spectral analyzers and review results;
Record defects, defect location, severity, and responsible department for analysis by process control/engineering;
Route parts and complete documentation/reports of defects and problems;
Collaborate with engineering, process control, and other plant departments to identify and resolve inspection-related problems
