Physical Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of physical security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, perimeter protection, and intercom systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat analyses, and security risk evaluations.
• Develop security system architectures, engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations related to video storage, network bandwidth, system sizing, and power requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging security technologies and solutions based on operational requirements, performance, and cost considerations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical/scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of experience designing and commissioning physical security systems.
• Strong expertise in CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, and perimeter security systems.
• Experience conducting security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and cybersecurity principles.
• Knowledge of leading physical security manufacturers, technologies, and industry standards.
