Job Description
As a Structural CAD Drafter/Designer in our Portland office, you will assist in creating drawings and project documents from information provided by engineers using various computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) platforms such as AutoCAD, Revit, and others. You will be responsible for independently completing design and drafting assignments, ensuring a high level of quality and on-time delivery.
Qualifications- 3 or more years of experience in drafting and design, with experience in structural buildings and framing preferred.
- Technical or associate degree in engineering or related sciences preferred.
- Advanced CAD, layout, and BIM skills.
- Experienced with the latest release of AutoCAD and Revit design tools.
- Proficient in computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, Blue Beam, and graphics.
- Ability to work with numerous project teams to help with project completion.
- Able to work from detailed sketches to produce computer-generated graphs, charts, overlays, and simple isometric drawings.
