Host, Entertainment & Gaming, Customer Service Rep

POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Host, you're the first person guests see when they enter our doors! Hosts are in charge of greeting guests and making them feel welcome at Parkstone Wood Kitchen + Taps. Hosts may also assist with To-Go orders.

• Greet all guests with a warm welcome upon arrival.
• Seat guests and accommodate special requests.
• Manage the wait list: record guest names and number in party and provide estimated waiting time.
• Provide an exceptional To-Go experience for every Guest – from taking both phone and walk-in orders, ringing the orders in the Point of Sale system, packaging the items, cashing the guest out and ensuring all orders are on-time and accurate.
• Answer phones and manage the restaurant reservation system.
• Inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age
• No experience necessary; however, restaurant experience a definite plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

• Mobility required during the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
