Responsibilities- Independent self‑starter with a flexible schedule, able to be on call for day (first) and swing (second) shifts.
- Schedule varies weekly depending on operational needs.
- Day, evening, and weekday availability required; overnight availability is highly desirable.
- No driving required.
- Pay Rate: $20.53 per hour.
- Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
- Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed.
- Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies.
- Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, if applicable.
- Provide assistance to customers who have forgotten where they parked.
- Arrive at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Assist customers by answering questions; direct them to the Facility Manager if necessary.
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed.
- Report any accidents, violations, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to garage office.
- Substitute for valets when necessary, if authorized.
- Have thorough knowledge of all garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways near the garage.
- Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education/Experience
Required:
Less than high‑school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement: A valid state‑issued driver’s license may be required only if the employee is expected to drive a company vehicle or perform company business.
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements may vary; work 2nd shift, 3rd shift, or weekends may be required.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to present information to customers and employees in one‑on‑one settings.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, and multiply two‑digit numbers and ten’s and hundred’s, and perform these operations using U.S. currency units.
Appearance: Employees must maintain a neat and clean appearance and wear a complete uniform at all times.
Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, using hands to handle cash and equipment; occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing; may lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Salary Range$20.53 per hour.
