Our Legacy Hospital client seeks a candidate with great communication skills and customer service experience to be our new temporary attendant at the Emanuel Campus. This position will end on or around Friday, August 21, 2026, with potential to become full-time.
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
- Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.
- Be energetic with the ability to work independently.
- Have previous customer service experience (required).
- Have previous parking experience (highly desired).
- Ensure that an appropriate number of cars are kept on location throughout the shift, cars are parked in an appropriate fashion and the lot is kept clean and presentable (location offers free employee parking).
- Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
- Count vehicles on location throughout shift, as needed.
- Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies.
- Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in customized motor carts, if applicable.
- Provide assistance to customers who have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
- Be present at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
- Courteously assist customers by answering questions and, if necessary, direct them to the Facility Manager for further assistance.
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
- Report accidents, violations of company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other incidents to the garage office.
- Substitute for valets when necessary, if authorized.
- Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area.
- Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education/Experience Required
:
Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement
:
Valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record (if responsible for driving company vehicles).
Availability to Work
:
Shift requirements may vary; availability for 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
Language Skills
:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one-on-one situations to customers and employees.
Mathematical Skills
:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money.
Appearance
:
Employees must maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
Physical Demands
:
Stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb or balance; lift or move up to 25 pounds.
