Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up theater before every performance
  • Manage the crowds as well as the ushers during Theatre Department productions.
  • Train volunteer ushers, answer questions, and assist audience members

Note:

  • If you take this position, you will not be able to audition or work backstage of any Theatre Department productions.
  • An interest in theatre is encouraged but not required
  • We are looking for a prompt, dependable, and courteous team worker with strong interpersonal skills
Responsibility Towards Diversity:
  • Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.
Schedule:
  • Needed for evenings when Theatre and Dance Department shows are being performed
  • A complete schedule will be given after position is filled; very few hours throughout the school year but you must be available for all the necessary hours
Rate of Pay:
  • $20.00/hr
Work Study Requirement:
  • Federal or Lewis & Clark work study required
