Senior Financial Accountant

New blended Accounting and Finance opportunity in Portland, OR with a well-known manufacturing company. This role offers the perfect blend of accounting and finance responsibilities, as well as opportunities to grow and develop. As the right person for this role, you’ll have a bachelor’s degree as well as 3+ years of related accounting and finance experience and strong excel skills. Strong preference for someone with manufacturing and accounting experience.

This role is highly collaborative across multiple business units including Operations, Supply Chain, Production teams.

Location:

On-site role in SE PDX

• 4+ weeks of vacation and sick time

• Blended Accounting and Financial Analysis role with cost accounting elements
• Budgeting and forecasting activities, performance and reporting analysis
• Directly contribute to month end close
• Support cost analysis (variable overhead and fixed) and track indirect labor and expenses
• Additional focus on Inventory valuation, GL reconciliation, and forecasting
• Support Revenue recognition

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a blend of finance and accounting skillsets
• Must bring developed MS Excel skills (Lookups/pivots) Preference for Power BI
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related is required
• Cost or revenue accounting experience strongly desired
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred
