Senior Tax Analyst

Sue Sumrell is recruiting for a Senior Tax Analyst for a multi-national corporation with an incredible culture! This position will join a highly effective team of professionals.

This Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for Canadian GST and VAT tax review of filings, analysis of accounts with foreign tax authorities, minimization of tax strategies and other projects. This position will be involved in Forms 5471 and 5472 and research of new tax regulations.

This company has an amazing culture with outstanding benefits. It is an onsite role and candidates must be located in the Portland metro area or have a plan to relocate. Must be legal to work in the US. No relocation assistance is available.

Requirements

- Extensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and best practices.

- Proven experience in corporate tax analysis, preferably with a focus on international operations.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to interpret complex tax issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with internal teams and external advisors.

- Proficiency in tax software and tools commonly used in corporate tax management.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, MST) preferred.
