- Audit & Notice Ownership: Project‑manage responses to tax audits and notices, proactively gathering documentation and resolving inquiries efficiently.
- Curiosity‑Driven Special Projects: Lead research and execution on special projects, including R&D tax credits, international expansion, transfer pricing, and state nexus evaluation.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
Master’s degree in Taxation is a plus. - CPA license is required.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of progressive tax experience (Public accounting/Big 4 experience highly preferred; a mix of public and fast‑paced corporate experience is ideal).
- A Builder’s Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity and excited by the challenge of creating order out of chaos.
- Strong Project Management
Skills:
Proven ability to manage external vendors, track multiple competing deadlines, and drive cross‑functional projects to completion. - Solid foundational understanding of ASC 740 (Accounting for Income Taxes).
- Experience in the SaaS industry or with international tax issues is a major plus.
