Job SummaryManages and constructs investment portfolios in accordance with client investment goals and objectives. Advises clients on appropriate strategies and constructs and customizes portfolios according to client needs or preferences. Maintains a high level of collaboration with the relationship team to provide effective strategies, solutions and optimal levels of service that exceed client expectations. The position is expected to offer the complete breadth and depth of the Wealth Segment suite of capabilities.
It may manage Portfolio Advisor Associates and/or mentor less experienced Portfolio Managers. The role collaborates and performs as part of the relationship management team to assure that the Wealth Segment goals are met by executing the client strategy.
- Reviews, monitors and modifies investment portfolio construction in accordance with client objectives and investment policy, initiating portfolio construction changes consistent with investment strategy.
- Maintains compliance with all internal policies and procedures, including but not limited to Reg 9 reviews and other compliance reporting functions.
- Maintains deep expertise in financial markets and related areas while also participating on or contributing to various investment committees.
- Has the knowledge and ability to manage investment portfolios within a fiduciary framework.
- Focuses on trading, rebalancing, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and portfolio execution.
- Monitors cash levels including portfolio additions/withdrawals and overdrafts.
- Uses client reporting and book management tools.
- Demonstrates strong project management skills.
- Provides guidance and acts as a role model for less experienced peers.
- Leads team discussions as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned; duties may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Complies with all Key Bank policies and procedures, including acting professionally, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.
- Bachelor’s Degree (required)
- Master’s Degree (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience (required)
- Unexperienced candidates may be considered for a junior Portfolio Analyst role.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or other professional designations (preferred)

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $57,000.00 – $87,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based on skills, experience, and geographic location. Compensation also includes eligibility for incentive compensation, which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
