Senior FP&A Manager – Weir ESCO, Portland, OR (Hybrid)

Purpose of Role

The Senior FP&A Manager reports to the Director of FP&A and is responsible for developing analysis, planning, and reporting for consolidated divisional results. The role leads quarterly forecasts and the annual budget, leveraging One Stream, and collaborates closely with operations, sales, procurement, finance, and other business owners to build plans, assess and challenge production inputs and outputs, revenues, purchases, costs, and logistics.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver consolidated monthly reports to the CEO of Weir and ESCO President; lead timely close and reporting procedures to support a 3‑day close and 5‑day reporting cycle.
  • Develop and build robust functional benchmarking, working‑capital, and balance‑sheet reporting—including reconciliations and variance analysis—and identify and create relevant cash‑flow metrics.
  • Supervise a geographically distributed FP&A team (one manager and three analysts based in Manila) and develop team members through coaching and mentoring to achieve high performance.
  • Lead and deliver monthly, quarterly forecasts and the annual budget (P&L, balance sheet, and KPI variances) with narrative explanations of business drivers.
  • Lead balance‑sheet planning and forecasting, ensuring alignment with cash‑flow objectives and working‑capital targets; provide guidance and instructions to global business units and functions for forecast and budget adherence.
  • Lead external reporting requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness for head‑office finance reports used in external presentations.
  • Recommend and implement business‑process improvements that enhance finance processes and result in higher‑quality analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrate a 100% commitment to zero‑harm behaviors, supporting the organization’s safety culture.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance with proven experience leading financial planning processes and teams.
  • Strong accounting background with expertise in balance‑sheet analysis, reconciliations, and cash‑flow management.
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Experience with large multinational companies focused on FP&A and/or manufacturing.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel.
  • Proficiency with One Stream, Hyperion, or other financial modeling tools.
  • Permanent authorization to work in the United States.
