Sr. Strategic Finance Analyst

Job Overview

Strategic Finance Analyst or Senior Hybrid role (3 days/week in office) at our Portland, Medford, Fargo, Burlington, Vancouver, Renton, Boise, Lewiston or Salt Lake City offices. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the chosen location. This position is part of the Strategic Finance team and serves as a trusted finance business partner across defined support areas.

• Strategic Finance Analyst
  • Build budgets, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare financial analysis and support such as cost‑benefit, ROI, and capital resource analysis for new opportunities, proposals, contracts, or product development.
  • Support cost savings and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide financial governance and oversight to promote economic sustainability.
  • Deliver effective presentations to internal teams.
  • Develop financial models using advanced analytical techniques and complex financial systems.
  • Plan, organize, schedule, coordinate and monitor a variety of work streams.
  • Provide training or consulting expertise to other departments, analysts, and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and articulate issues with multi‑business area or cross‑functional impacts; offer informal leadership when needed.
• Senior Strategic Finance Analyst
  • Deliver highly effective presentations to all levels of the organization.
  • Develop complex financial models and analysis using advanced techniques and financial systems.
  • Plan, organize, schedule, coordinate and monitor large work streams involving multiple areas.
  • Guide the work of analysts and others; provide training or consulting expertise to external stakeholders.
  • Effectively advise and influence the business on a wide variety of issues; lead positive change and mentor analysts.

• Strategic Finance Analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or statistics.
  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or ASA preferred; mandatory health insurance experience.
  • 5‑7 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of applicable statutes, policies, and procedures in a specific functional area.
  • Strong decision‑making, communication, and business‑principles knowledge across multiple areas.
  • Proven consultation and influence skills; experience with AI tools highly desired.
• Senior Strategic Finance Analyst
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or statistics.

  • 7‑9 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Deep knowledge of business principles and multiple business areas; extensive consultation experience.
  • Experience with AI tools highly desired.

• Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho – Analyst: expected hiring $84,200‑$113,900; full range $79,000‑$129,000; bonus target 10%. Senior Analyst: expected hiring $101,200‑$136,900; full range $95,000‑$155,000; bonus target 15%.
• North Dakota – Analyst: expected hiring $81,679.31‑$; full range $72,523.20‑$. Senior Analyst: expected hiring $90,906.79‑$; full range $80,716.23‑$.
