Compensation & Benefits

Expected Annual Earnings: $150,000-$180,000, based on performance.

What You'll Do
  • Sells financing to customers.
  • Provides customers with thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with several finance sources, including the manufacturer.
  • Processes finance and lease deals accurately and fairly through financial sources to secure approval.
  • Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Processes all federal, state, and dealer paperwork related to vehicle transactions.
  • Understands and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the new- and used-vehicle and finance departments.
  • Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc., before forwarding to accounting.
  • Acquires and maintains continuing credit insurance education as needed.
  • Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
  • Seeks new lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates and finance programs continually.
  • Works with sales managers to secure a reasonable profit from every sale.
  • Ensures collection of all finance and insurance fees.
  • Takes all credit applications.
  • Handles all rate quotations.
  • Develop and monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Collect documentation required by lender, DMV, DOL or dealer for customer deal.
  • Ensure funding is secure and received timely.
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of Automotive Finance Manager experience in a dealership environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership.
  • Proficiency with dealership software and standard computer applications.
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to build value, overcome objections, and close sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
