Senior Tax Associate

We are seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join our tax practice. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys technical tax work, collaborative planning, and direct involvement in delivering high-quality service toclients.

• Provide initial tax preparation support,includinginformationgathering, workpaper creation, data entry,andfirst-draftreturnpreparation
• Review returns and selected projects prepared by Tax Associates and interns
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members
• Prepare tax projections and provide proactive taxplanningrecommendations
• Prepare responses to IRS and state tax notices and correspondence
• Collaborate with the advisory team on tax planning matters and client serviceinitiatives
• Communicate with clients by phone and email and participate in client meetings asneeded
• Conduct tax research and provide support on technical projects and planningmatters

• 2-5years of public accounting experience withabackgroundintaxation
• CPA eligibleor JD required;
  
  Master’s in taxation preferred
• Ability to manage multiple client engagementsandprojects
• Proficiency in or ability to adapt quickly to new tax software and research tools (i.e., CCH Axcess Tax, BNA Income Tax Planner, andCCHIntelliConnect)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Willingness and desire to be part of ateam

• Salary range: $85,000 –$105,000
