Summary
As an OSH Policy Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and analysis of the GSA-wide employee Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program.

Duties- Provides advice, guidance, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to management and agency personnel on all employee safety and occupational health matters, including policy implementation, interpretation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and injury reporting. Develops and implements compliance policies and procedures.
- Conducts regular compliance risk assessments and audits, monitors and reports on compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met, and investigates and addresses compliance violations by analyzing data in the Inventory Reporting Information System (IRIS) system. Prepares compliance reports for senior management.
- Reviews and analyzes Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) data related to hazard conditions and annual OSH surveys recorded in the Inventory Reporting Information System (IRIS) database, focusing on regulatory compliance concerning abatement plans and interim controls, ensuring all components are adequately documented and timely.
- Coordinates and compiles GSA's Annual Occupational Safety and Health Report to the Secretary of Labor. Represents the agency at national meetings, conferences, and committees (e.g., Federal Advisory Council on Occupational Safety & Health (FACOSH), Field Federal Safety and Health Councils) to stay current on emerging OSH theories and standards.
- Designs, implements, and reviews the agency Employee Hazard Analysis Certification (EHAC) training. Ensures the DOL Employees’ Compensation Operations and Management Portal (eCOMP) is utilized for recording injuries/illnesses and analyzes this data for national trends.

- Current or Former Political Appointees:
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C or Non Career SES employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the HR Office. Failure to disclose this information could result in disciplinary action including removal from Federal Service. - Serve a one year probationary period, if required.

Salary and ExperienceThe GS-13 salary range starts at $106,437 per year. Locality pay will be determined upon selection. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service.
