The Oregon Symphony is looking for a Section Viola player, with auditions set to take place from November 16 to 18, 2026. The selected candidate will begin employment in September 2027. The position offers a base compensation of $71,545.62 for the 40-week season, which includes various allowances and benefits such as
- fully paid medical and dental insurance
- long-term disability
- an AFM pension plan
- paid parking.
The audition repertoire packet will be made available no later than August 23, 2026. The Oregon Symphony is committed to supporting musicians through its partnership with the National Alliance for Audition Support.
